Terms and Conditions
There is a 1 hour minimum charge for all removals and deliveries. After the first hour, we charge by the quarter hour.
We charge £8 if we have to enter the congestion charge zone to reach any given destination provided by our customer.
We only accept payments in cash. Payments must given to our driver.
We don't send out mailings, however upon sending through a website enquiry form you allow us to collect your data as per the privacy policy. Should you wish to receive no further mailings from us, please advise us in writing to Sam@SamTheVanMan.com
Cancellation Charge: If a booking is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to start time we reserve the right to charge 20% of the base quoted rate. Unless extenuating circumstances are discussed with the company prior to cancellation.
We are extremely careful when handling, loading, moving and unloading our customers goods but we accept no responsibility for loss or damage to property before, during and after a move.
It is our customers responsibility to arrange his / her insurance for his /her property.
It is our customers responsibility to package all animals adequately, help can be provided upon request however if we deem the carrier unsafe for transport we reserve the right to refuse collection.
All cancellations within 48 hours of pickup time will be charged at 20% of the booked fee.
Payment is cash on collection or delivery, other forms of payment may be accepted with prior notification.
It is our customers responsibility to provide us with an appropriate parking spot to load and unload goods. Customers will be held responsible and must pay for any parking fines and tickets issued to us during a move.
We are always punctual and realiable but we cannot always guarantee that we'll arrive at a given destination on time due to on road and off road circumstances out of our control. In these rare occurances we will endeavour to provide an accurate ETA to keep you informed.
We will not tolerate and may prosecute customers who abuse or physically harm our staff.
